Amazon Leo-Enterprise Systems Architect, Amazon Leo

Amazon's Project Leo is a low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. The mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world. To support this, Amazon is building enterprise platforms that can scale across manufacturing, supply chain, and business operations as the company expands.

Responsibilities

Define the target-state architecture for enterprise systems supporting manufacturing, supply chain, master data, asset management, and finance
Build and institutionalize the Architecture and Governance function for Enterprise Systems
Develop and implement enterprise application integration standards across APIs, middleware, event-based patterns, and batch interfaces
Publish architecture playbooks, reference patterns, and reusable standards
Lead architecture reviews for major initiatives, integrations, plant onboarding efforts, and platform changes
Architect reliable upstream and downstream integrations for the enterprise ecosystem
Partner with cross-functional leaders to translate business needs into scalable, durable architecture decisions
Design for scale across multiple factories, product lines, and evolving operating models
Mentor architects and senior engineers

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
12+ years of experience in enterprise systems, ERP, or platform architecture
7+ years of experience in senior architecture, principal engineer, or equivalent technical leadership roles
Experience defining target-state architecture and architectural standards
Experience designing and governing integration patterns across complex enterprise ecosystems
Experience building or leading architecture governance mechanisms
Experience working across multiple enterprise domains
Experience scaling enterprise platforms across multiple sites, product lines, business units, or operating models
Strong written and verbal communication skills
