Responsibilities
- Operation, support, and further development of the Siemens MES solution Opcenter and the machine integration software PAC from ZNT Richter
- Interface management between MES, ERP, machines, and other systems
- Analysis and capturing of requirements - translation into technical specifications and solution designs
- Takeover of second-level support for production-related IT systems including error analysis, documentation, and troubleshooting
- Participation in upgrading and patching of the MES software and associated operating systems, monitoring the software, conducting functional tests
- Communication with the third-level support of the MES software manufacturers
- Support in the rollout of the MES system and functions to other company areas
- Continuous further development of the MES platform
- Documentation of processes, system changes, and solution concepts
Requirements
- Successfully completed degree in computer science, engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Experience in application management of MES systems, preferably Siemens Opcenter
- Strong skills in requirements elicitation, solution design, and technical concept development
- Solid knowledge of production processes, IT infrastructures, and common interface technologies
- Very good SQL skills and very good experience in object-oriented programming, preferably in C# and Java
- Solid experience in the use of DevOps methods in agile development environments based on the Atlassian stack
- Very good knowledge of the Windows Server operating system, basic knowledge of the Linux operating system
- Confident appearance, high sense of responsibility, and structured, solution-oriented way of working
- Experience in working with manufacturer support and internal IT interfaces
- Meets the requirements for authorization for VS-NfD
- Strong communication skills in German and English, particularly the ability to convey complex technical concepts to target audiences
