The Role
The Business Intelligence Analyst II will manage operational metrics for Dropship performance, analyze data to improve delivery outcomes, and present actionable insights to leadership.
Responsibilities
- Investigate complex, ambiguous data questions specific to Dropship
- Connect vendor behavior to delivery and customer experience outcomes
- Translate findings into clear narratives that drive action
- Monitor data pipelines for accuracy, missing data, enhancements, and changes
- Reconcile data issues between various systems and find improvement opportunities
- Lead quality control and testing initiatives for deliverables
- Develop and deliver communication and training plans on data analytics
- Evaluate, implement and deploy emerging tools and technologies
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, engineering, statistics, computer science, or business with analytics focus
- 4+ years of experience as an analyst, preferably in e-commerce or retail
- Advanced SQL knowledge and experience with data modeling and performance tuning
- Experience with ETL techniques and BI tools (Tableau, KNIME, Control M, SSIS, Alteryx)
- Solid knowledge of data visualization tools, especially Tableau
- Demonstrable success in interpreting data and analyzing results using statistical techniques
- Experience applying statistical techniques like hypothesis testing, correlation, classification, regression, and time series forecasting
- Experience with Git, Jira, and Confluence for source code and project management
