Data Analyst (m/f/d)
We're looking for a Data Analyst to join our team in Germany. In this role, you will collect, analyze and transform data into actionable insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions and contribute to the evolution of data strategies.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, development and deployment of data analytics solutions that address business challenges
- Collaborate with stakeholders and data engineering teams to define project goals, technical requirements and deliverables
- Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends and insights aligned with organizational goals
- Build data structures, design transformations, execute queries and conduct ETL/ELT operations for analysis
- Develop models using mathematical, statistical and analytical methods to derive key indicators
- Create and manage dashboards and reports to track performance metrics using tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Design and document processes for automating and streamlining data workflows
- Ensure accuracy, consistency and reliability of data across reporting platforms
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies and regulatory developments
Requirements
- Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field
- Advanced SQL skills, including joins, aggregates and window functions for data analysis
- Proficiency in Python and libraries such as Pandas, Spark/pySpark, Plotly, Seaborn and Streamlit for data processing and visualization
- Experience with ETL/ELT processes and multiple data formats
- Practical experience with BI platforms such as Power BI, Plotly Dash, Amazon QuickSight or Tableau
- Knowledge of data governance, security practices and data privacy regulations
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and deployment pipelines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in German and English
