About the Role
As a Data Engineer at Redcare Pharmacy, you'll be at the forefront of developing and optimizing data pipelines and architectures that enable Data & AI models to deliver transformative insights. You'll join a team shaping the future of digital healthcare with data-driven innovation.
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize scalable data pipelines and data architecture
- Build cloud-native data solutions using Azure, Databricks (Unity Catalog & Delta Lake), and other big data technologies
- Build and maintain DBT models and understand data domains like finance, e-commerce, pharma, and supply chain
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and analysts to deliver data-driven solutions
- Apply CI/CD practices and continuously improve performance, scalability, and security
- Contribute to a strong data culture through continuous learning and knowledge sharing
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering and data management
- Hands-on experience with Azure or other public cloud platforms, building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and ensuring high data quality
- Strong expertise in DBT and SQL for data modeling and analysis
- Solid experience with Databricks (Spark, Unity Catalog)
- Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Scala, or Java)
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices is a plus
- Understanding of business domains, ideally with an e-commerce background
- Motivated to work in an innovative environment and continuously improve cloud-native and distributed systems
