Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining software and data environments in the context of AI, HPC and data analytics use cases for modern AI and high-performance computing hardware
- Contributing to the initial (and evolving) software stack and the supported service portfolio of the AI Factory within an engaging and open work environment
- Supporting development of the platform that enables customers of HammerHAI to access and provide their own AI data sets and models
- Fostering contact with collaboration partners as well as stakeholders from the European AI ecosystem
- Maintaining relationships with technology providers and system developers (software/hardware)
Requirements
- PhD or Masters degree in computer or data science, or other areas of scientific computing, or Bachelors degree with multiple years (2) of applied software development / platform engineering / deployment experience and/or working with AI data management workflows
- Proficiency working in data center environments (incl. Linux servers, Python, Git, Gitlab)
- Proven experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining end-to-end AI/ML software stacks on HPC, cloud, or hybrid environments
- Extensive knowledge and experience in developing and maintaining software and data environments in the context of AI, HPC and data analytics use cases
- Ability to design and operate data management workflows, including integration with data platforms, model hubs, data spaces, and external repositories
- Willingness to keep up with current developments and to learn new technologies in the field of AI
- Excellent English and preferably German presentation and writing skills
