Responsibilities
- Development of infrastructure-as-code with Terraform for cloud/on-premise resources
- Operation and further development of Ansible playbooks for server configurations
- Management of the VMware virtualisation environment (ESXi/vCenter)
- Administration of Debian servers for internal tools and customer systems
- Security updates, backup management and troubleshooting
- Support for PHP, Node.js and Ruby applications
Requirements
- Completed technical studies (e.g. computer science, business informatics)
- Practical experience with Debian/Linux administration
- Confident handling of Ansible and Terraform in productive use
- Basic understanding of virtualisation technologies
- Basic knowledge of network administration (e.g. firewalls, VPN, SSL certificates, DNS)
- Experience with scripting (Bash/Python) and Git versioning
- Sound knowledge in the administration of MySQL/MariaDB databases
