Position Overview
The Surveillance & Regulatory Technology domain is a key part of the global Corporate Bank Technology organization - with over 3000 highly qualified engineers in more than 30 countries. Together, we develop cutting-edge technologies that protect the financial and reputational interests of Deutsche Bank: from real-time filters and intelligent risk controls to AI-powered fraud detection solutions. Our goal: maximum compliance, strong prevention, and future-proof risk management.
Your Responsibilities
- Development of microservices-based components for transaction monitoring
- Design and implementation of automated tests
- Ensuring compliance with bank policies and non-functional requirements
- Identification and mitigation of risks in design and implementation
- Provision of Level 3 support for the infrastructure
- Performing maintenance and engineering changes using agile methods
Your Skills and Experience
- University degree in computer science, engineering or a related technical field, ideally with a minor in finance
- Solid knowledge and practical experience in technologies such as Python, Flask, Java, Spring Framework, Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Good understanding of design patterns, enterprise integration patterns, REST, and microservices
- Experience in agile software development (SAFe/SCRUM/Kanban) is highly desirable
- Experience in virtual teams and matrix organizations, with a willingness to share knowledge and the ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a focus on delivery
- Excellent written and verbal English skills; German language skills are a plus
