Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic direction and growth of one of the Core Tribe teams
- Empower Engineers to build disruptive financial products by providing reusable components, implementing critical improvements, and supporting other teams
- Identify technological opportunities, produce knowledge, and share best practices
- Build up, empower, and manage a team of Cloud Site Reliability Engineers
- Define OKRs with the team and help them achieve business goals
- Collaborate with feature teams to identify bottlenecks and lead design/implementation of best practices
Requirements
- Extensive experience in at least one of the following programming languages: Kotlin/Java, Python, Node.js
- Experience with AWS and infrastructure as code (preferably Terraform)
- Experience in a technical leadership and people management role
- Solid understanding of scalable system design principles, distributed systems, and cloud technologies
- General understanding of software systems and architectures (e.g., microservices, event-driven)
- Passion for automating and improving processes, and working with other developer teams
- Great communication and visualization skills for complex systems
- Relevant degree or equivalent work experience
- Full professional proficiency in English
