Expert / Senior Consultant (all genders) SAP EWM
As an Expert (all genders) SAP EWM, you are a key contact person in complex SAP S/4HANA transformation projects with a focus on logistics and warehouse management. You conduct fit-gap analyses, lead workshops with customers, showcase SAP's best-practice processes, and advise our clients on the optimal use of SAP systems.
Responsibilities
- Accompany projects in all phases of the SAP Activate model and take responsibility for the implementation of complex solution concepts through customizing of SAP EWM
- Create technical and functional specifications for required developments and serve as the interface to developers
- As a Senior Consultant, you will also be deployed as a Logistics Stream Lead in projects. In this role, you are the contact person for less experienced colleagues and the interface of your stream to the project management
- Identify additional consulting potential with our customers and support our sales team in the preparation of offers
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the implementation and customizing of SAP EWM, preferably in S/4HANA transformation projects
- Successfully accompanied several end-to-end implementations (from requirements analysis to go-live/hypercare) and are familiar with the challenges in all project phases
- Expertise in EWM core processes, such as inbound, outbound, and internal processes
- Extensive customizing know-how in SAP EWM and sound knowledge in cooperation with developers - from specification to support during testing
- Knowledge in the field of material flow control (EWM MFS) and integration into adjacent modules (e.g., quality assurance, PP, transportation management) as well as basic programming skills in ABAP or ABAP Objects are a plus
- Confident communication with customers, even in difficult project situations, and independent leadership as well as the guidance of less experienced team members
