Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the delivery and consultancy of CTO cloud projects
- Provide technical and application guidance to multiple project teams for successful project delivery
- Support production incidents through effective management, problem determination, and root cause analysis
- Participate in follow-the-sun support with the Hong Kong team, including weekend and non-office hour on-call duties
- Adhere to Google best practices in Site Reliability Engineering, focusing on prevention and preparation
- Collaborate with SRE team members to share support responsibilities and maintain a robust support roster
- Ensure high-quality production support by engaging in proactive monitoring and incident response strategies
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the cloud projects and support frameworks
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering or related field
- 2+ years of experience in system/infrastructure design, operations
- Familiar with Linux OS, shell or Python scripting experience
- Familiar with networking and firewall configurations
- Strong problem-solving skills, communication skills and documentation skills
- Embrace diversity and interested in working in a global team structure
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
