The Role

In your role as Senior Developer, you'll design and implement core components of the autonomous operations platform. You'll build Kubernetes-native operators and controllers that enable self-healing infrastructure, integrating AI/ML services for anomaly detection and root cause analysis across distributed environments.

What you bring

Must-have Skills

• 5+ years of professional programming experience (e.g. with Go, Python, Java) building distributed systems with focus on infrastructure automation and cloud-native applications
• Strong knowledge of operators, CRDs, and custom controllers using controller-runtime or Operator SDK
• Experience with Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, timeseries databases, and distributed tracing systems
• Good understanding of network technologies including IPv4/IPv6, VLANs, L2/L3 firewalls, routing protocols, and DNS
• Understanding of how to effectively consume and integrate AI/ML services, APIs, and interpreting model outputs for operational decisions
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code (ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Terraform), and GitOps workflows
• Fluency both written and spoken in English and German

Nice-to-have Skills

• Understanding of distributed systems failure modes, graceful degradation, and designing for unreliable infrastructure
• Experience with frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js and TypeScript
