Responsibilities
- Develop, train, and optimize AI/ML models utilizing a range of techniques from traditional algorithms to deep learning approaches.
- Prepare and process data, build and maintain data pipelines, and perform feature engineering to ensure high-quality inputs for models.
- Deploy models into cloud environments such as Kubernetes, ensuring their robustness, scalability, and efficient performance in production settings.
- Continuously monitor, evaluate, and improve existing models and data pipelines to maintain optimal accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including data scientists, DevOps, software developers, and domain experts to align project goals and deliver innovative solutions.
- Document processes, develop testing protocols, and contribute to best practices in model deployment and maintenance.
Qualifications
- Relevant academic background, such as a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a comparable field.
- Proficiency in Python, including experience with production-level coding beyond notebooks.
- Solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals, such as neural network layers, decision trees, and data cleaning.
- Experience with data pipelines, CI/CD processes, and containerization technologies like Kubernetes.
- Strong communication skills, teamwork orientation, and the willingness to proactively address challenges.
- Familiarity with MLOps tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, or Airflow, and experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or OTC.
