Aufgaben
- Incorporation of advanced dynamics of land-ocean coupling into the ICON Earth System Modelling Framework
- Extension of the Hydrological Discharge (HD) model with formulations representing riverine matter transport, erosion and accretion
- Evaluation and investigation of various aspects of current and future riverine matter transport
Anforderungen
- Masters or comparable degree in meteorology, physics, geosciences or related field
- Excellent programming skills (preferably in FORTRAN or Python)
- Interest in interdisciplinary climate and coastal research
