PhD/Postdoc position in trustworthy data-driven control and networked AI for rehabilitation robotics
The Chair of Information-oriented Control (ITR) offers a PhD/PostDoc position within the 6G-life Research-Hub "Digital transformation and sovereignty of future communication networks". TU Dresden and the Technical University of Munich have joined forces to form the 6G-life research hub in order to drive cutting-edge research for future 6G communication networks with a focus on human-machine collaboration. The merger of the two universities of excellence combines their world-leading preliminary work in the field of Tactile Internet. 6G-life will provide new approaches for sustainability, new concepts for security and solutions for current latencies in communication networks.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research in the field of trustworthy data-driven control and networked AI for rehabilitation robotics
- Develop novel methods and tools for the analysis and control of cooperative, networked, and distributed dynamical systems
- Validate the developed methods in the multi-robot lab
- Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and conferences
Requirements
- Successful degree (master/diploma/doctoral/PhD) with exceptional records
- Strong background in control, system theory and optimization, machine learning, robotics and/or mechatronics
- Proficient in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python
- Interest to work in an interdisciplinary environment
- German language skills are necessary for this position
