InnoGames is best known for Forge of Empires, Elvenar and Tribal Wars, but the company is continually expanding its now 10-game portfolio across platforms and genres.
Responsibilities
- Improve our game by contributing to the continuous development and improvements of one of our keystone games: Elvenar
- Find technical solutions by developing and optimizing the PHP codebase while implementing solid game logic
- Collaborate with experts by closely interacting with our Game Developers and further Game production specialists
- Iterate on results by being part of the whole feature development lifecycle committed to high-quality results
- Ensure high product quality by applying automated tests and shaping a great gaming experience for our players
- Foster a culture of knowledge sharing, best practices and high-level standards
Requirements
- Focus on back-end development with PHP and OOP
- Advanced knowledge of relational databases, preferably using PostgreSQL
- Well-versed in design patterns, software architecture, and unit testing
- 4+ years of experience in an agile software development environment, ideally in Game Development
- Proactive and motivated individual with a solution-oriented and efficient work style
- Excellent English skills and willingness to learn
