Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough code reviews for platform components, ensuring adherence to coding standards and architectural guidelines
- Identify potential risks, vulnerabilities, and performance bottlenecks early in the development cycle
- Validate code quality through static analysis tools and manual inspection
- Provide detailed feedback and maintain documentation of review findings for continuous improvement
- Utilize modern development practices including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), and automated testing frameworks
- Work closely with developers, architects, and product owners to align platform development with business goals
- Mentor team members on coding best practices and emerging technologies
- Ensure proper handling of process data, configuration files, and integration of subsystems in automation environments as well as compliance with IEC standards and cybersecurity best practices (IEC 62443)
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience in code review and platform development for industrial or automation software
- Strong knowledge of programming languages (C++, C#, Rust, Python) and version control systems (Git)
- Familiarity with substation automation protocols (IEC 61850, DNP3, Modbus) and SCADA/HMI systems
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and secure coding practices
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
