Department Overview

Engineering Services supports the Pre-Sales and After-Sales business components of MBUSA and various quality organizations within Mercedes-Benz AG. The Engineering Services team is dedicated to providing exemplary customer service, with a high focus on technical support and quality. Our customers are varied from the Mercedes-Benz dealers, consumers, MBUSA, Mercedes-Benz AG, and external providers such as Independent Service Providers, Suppliers, and Governmental Agencies.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the MBUSA service engineers in identifying, tracking, and resolving issues in the Mercedes-Benz model lines sold and serviced in the US (NAFTA) market
• Participating in component level tear down and root cause analysis
• Interfacing with the other business units of MBUSA on behalf of the Product Technical Support team in conjunction with the engineers in order to support our dealers and products
• Creation of dashboards to support the engineering team

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters program or have graduated no more than 12 months prior to internship start date
• Available from April 2026 to October 2026
• Hybrid in-person schedule, up to 28 hours maximum per week
• Proof of Proficiency (Portfolio, Recommendation Letters, etc.)
