Responsibilities
- Perform tests on our professional audio software products within the overall system, including studio monitors, audio interfaces, and network components
- Build and maintain test setups and document them thoroughly
- Develop test plans, test cases, and test reports, and actively contribute to defining our quality criteria
- Analyze, reproduce, and prioritize complex issues across all system components
- Work closely with software, firmware, and DSP developers and support them in root-cause analysis
- Implement automated test procedures and contribute to the continuous improvement of our CI/CD test pipelines
- Play an active role in establishing a professional test laboratory and shaping sustainable testing processes
- Support the entire product development lifecycle - from the initial concept to the final product delivered to the customer
Requirements
- Successful completion of a degree in electrical engineering, information technology, computer engineering, or a comparable field
- Experience in testing technical systems or software, including both manual and automated test methods, and familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for test automation
- Hands-on experience with professional audio hardware or audio software and eagerness to work with real hardware setups and studio environments
- Ability to systematically analyze, reproduce, and document complex issues across various system components
- Enjoyment in working with cabling, network configuration, and building reliable test environments
- Basic understanding of software development and comfort in collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English, combined with strong teamwork, self-organization, and a structured work style
- Experience with relevant technical tools and technologies, including network protocols/Audio-over-IP or embedded systems, as well as analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, log parsers, audio measurement software) and test management or CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps
