Quality Engineer (m/w/d) IT Air & Sea Logistics

Responsibilities

• Development and implementation of comprehensive test strategies for software quality, performance and reliability
• Design, creation and maintenance of detailed test plans, test cases and test scripts based on various requirements
• Development and maintenance of automated test suites using tools to improve test coverage
• Conducting thorough manual tests to identify errors and validate the user experience, including exploratory tests
• Identification, documentation and tracking of bugs in close collaboration with development teams for timely resolution
• Collaboration with developers, product managers and stakeholders to ensure high quality software delivery
• Design and execution of performance tests to ensure that the software can handle the expected loads and stresses

Requirements

• Completed degree in computer science or a comparable education with relevant professional experience
• Proven experience as a Quality Engineer or in a similar QA role with sound knowledge of software testing methodology
• Ideally experience with automated test tools, scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) and performance testing tools
• Extraordinary attention to detail and methodical approach to testing - certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing issues and finding solutions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration
• Very good German and English language skills
