About the position
As a Senior (AI) Solution Architect (m/f/d), you will design sophisticated AI and data architectures for our customers in an enterprise environment. You translate complex technical requirements into sustainable, scalable solution designs and create architectures that are technologically excellent and economically viable. Your focus is on designing and integrating modern AI, machine learning and data platforms into existing IT landscapes. In doing so, you combine strategic thinking with technical depth.
Responsibilities
- Advise customers on an equal footing, develop sustainable target architectures and support their implementation through to productive operation
- Work closely with engineering, data, cloud and business teams to ensure innovative AI solutions are implemented securely, scalably and compliantly
- Design holistic AI and data architectures from initial requirements analysis to implementation support
- Evaluate existing IT and data landscapes and develop sustainable objectives and transformation paths
- Define architecture principles, standards, and best practices for AI, ML and data solutions
- Design scalable cloud architectures based on AWS, Azure or GCP and integrate AI services into existing platforms
- Work closely with engineering and DevOps teams and support the implementation as a technical sparring partner
- Ensure that security, governance, compliance, and responsible AI requirements are taken into account in the architecture
- Support pre-sales activities, create technical solution concepts and participate in bidding and tendering processes
- Moderate architecture workshops with customers and facilitate technical decision-making processes
- Provide technical leadership in complex projects and support less experienced colleagues
Requirements
- Several years of experience as a solution architect, enterprise architect or in a comparable role in an AI, data or cloud environment
- Profound experience in designing and implementing complex IT and data architectures in an enterprise context
- Very good understanding of AI, machine learning and data platform architectures
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) as well as modern architecture patterns (e.g. microservices, event-driven architectures)
- Knowledge of integration architectures and API design
- Experience with DevOps, MLOps, or DataOps concepts
- Confident appearance in customer situations and ability to present technical content in an understandable way at management level
- Experience in international project or team structures
- Structured, analytical and solution-oriented way of working
- Willingness to make occasional business trips on a small scale
