Senior Azure .NET Developer (lead role)

We are a high-tech company that develops hardware, software and digital services in the field of climate control, energy-saving, and optimal reuse of water. We do this for horticulture, indoor and city farming, as well as utility buildings such as offices, retail, hotels, and hospitals.

Responsibilities

Play a pivotal role in building and optimizing our robust platform
Ensure the development and maintenance of scalable, secure, and future-proof solutions
Leverage your expertise in key Azure components such as IoT Hub, Event Hub, Service Bus, Blob Storage, Azure Data Explorer, MS SQL, Azure AppService, and Azure Functions
Collaborate closely with other developers, Product Owners, QA Engineers, and Tech Leads
Implement technical solutions, align on dependencies, and translate functional needs into technical priorities
Share your knowledge and skills with the team, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and development
Stay up to date with the latest advancements in cloud technology and advocate for best practices

Requirements

At least a bachelor's level work and thinking capacity
Minimum of 5-7 years experience as a .NET (Core) Developer
Skills, mindset, and ambition to progressively take on a lead role
Working history in Cloud environments, preferably with Azure Cloud Computing Services
Experience with data collecting, storing, analyzing, and creating actionable insights through reports and dashboards
Experience with IoT devices, collecting data from devices, writing software for their operation, and integrating them into larger systems
Experience in building RESTful APIs
Currently living in the Netherlands
