Responsibilities
- Translate business challenges into scalable technical solutions and work closely with product managers and other engineers to ensure high-quality design, planning, and implementation
- Conceptualize, build, and maintain RESTful APIs (internal and external) that enable fast, reliable, and smooth backend services
- Apply modern agile methods, including Test-Driven Development (TDD), Pair Programming, and Continuous Integration
- Continuously learn and experiment - explore new technologies, improve system reliability, and evolve our architecture with a focus on performance and maintainability
- Contribute your ideas and take responsibility - we value creativity, flat hierarchies, and fast decision-making that enable engineers to truly make an impact
Requirements
- Strong, practical experience with PHP (Laravel)
- Proven experience in designing and developing distributed backend systems for high traffic and high load (High-Traffic / High-Load)
- Solid experience with AWS services, especially Fargate/K8S, S3, SNS/SQS, RDS, and Redis
- Deep understanding of SQL performance optimization, including efficient query design, data types, indexing strategies, and schema optimization
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of services end-to-end - from development and automated testing to deployment, monitoring, and incident response
- Strong skills in breaking down complex technical challenges into manageable, maintainable, and easily deployable components
