Senior Business Intelligence Engineer, Middle Mile Supply and Routing Optimization

Key Responsibilities
- Design automated solutions for recurrent reporting (daily/weekly/monthly)
- Design automated processes for in-depth analysis
- Design automated data control processes
- Collaborate with the software development teams to build solutions
- Learn, publish, analyze and improve management information dashboards, operational business metrics decks and key performance indicators
- Improve tools and processes, scale existing solutions, and create new solutions as required based on stakeholder needs
- Participate in annual budgeting and forecasting efforts
- Perform monthly variance analysis and identify opportunities
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of SQL experience
- 5+ years of professional or military experience
- Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
- Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills
- Experience with AWS technologies
- Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining
- Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs
- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
