Key responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end New Zealand payroll implementations in SAP SuccessFactors ECP, including hands-on configuration, go-live, and hypercare support
- Lead payroll functional design, translating business and legislative requirements into compliant system configuration and payroll processing logic
- Act as the SME for New Zealand payroll compliance, covering PAYE and IRD payday filing, KiwiSaver, leave and entitlements, terminations, and off-cycle payrolls
- Lead payroll testing, cutover, and go-live activities, including SIT, parallel runs, UAT, data validation, and reconciliation
- Partner with Payroll, HR, Finance, and technical teams to support delivery, EC to ECP integration, issue resolution, and continuous improvement
Requirements
- 10+ years hands-on New Zealand payroll experience, including multiple end-to-end implementations and complex payroll transformation programmes
- Proven SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) delivery experience, with strong hands-on configuration capability across at least two ECP implementations
- Deep expertise in New Zealand payroll legislation, compliance, EC to ECP integration, and end-to-end payroll processing, testing, and cutover
- Strong consulting practitioner with excellent problem-solving skills, able to work independently, own delivery, and communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders
