Responsibilities
- Implement technical telemetry integrations based on OpenTelemetry and pipeline technology
- Develop an adoption strategy and plan for onboarding activities, including deployment phases and timelines, and drive execution
- Empower product teams by sharing best practices, running trainings, and acting as a coach for telemetry instrumentation
- Develop and continuously improve training and enablement material, and facilitate training sessions
- Build self-service capabilities to facilitate consumers to onboard their use cases
- Play an active role within the group-wide observability community as an Observability and OpenTelemetry evangelist
- Design and implement microsegmentation solution using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and high-level languages
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Strong service orientation, communication, and collaboration abilities
- Practical experience and advanced knowledge in application instrumentation, monitoring, and observability solutions using OpenTelemetry
- Experience using telemetry pipeline tools, like Cribl, is a plus
- Experience developing and running cloud-native software and infrastructure using OpenTofu/Terraform, JavaScript, and GitOps tooling
- Strong understanding of IT operations and DevOps
