As part of our team, you'll actively work on implementing a green electricity market of the future - at our office in the heart of Cologne-Ehrenfeld, in our European branches, and of course from the comfort of your home office.
Responsibilities
- Actively shape and continuously develop our cloud infrastructure and platform with a strong focus on quality
- Drive IT projects from conception and evaluation to implementation, operation, and support
- Automate processes and infrastructure using Terraform or Ansible to ensure scalable and consistent environments
- Implement and operate CI/CD pipelines to enable smooth and secure deployments
- Support mission-critical systems by being part of the 24/7 on-call rotation and responding promptly to alerts
- Collaborate closely with architects and your agile, international team, create guidelines, best practices, and shared engineering standards, and guide and support colleagues in their professional development
Requirements
- Proficient in working with Microsoft Azure in production environments
- Automate infrastructure with Terraform and/or Ansible according to modern engineering standards and create CI/CD workflows with GitHub Actions
- Script in Python to support automation, tooling, and operational scenarios
- Integrate IT security and regulatory requirements (including KRITIS) into concepts and daily operations
- Think holistically and bring a platform engineering mindset to improve architectures, processes, and service quality
- Communicate confidently in German and English, both verbally and in writing
