Responsibilities
- Proactively develop the Kaufland Marketplace and internal services further
- Design and implement solutions that deliver an exceptional shopping experience in close collaboration with UX/UI experts
- Continuously optimize and maintain existing frontend applications regarding performance, speed, usability, minimizing load times and maximizing interactivity
- Proactively contribute own suggestions, solutions, and technologies to the development process
- Work on highly scalable and performant SSR Vue 3 frontends serving pages with high traffic
- Lead by example and continuously improve colleagues' know-how, methodology, and quality
Requirements
- 6+ years of relevant experience as a Frontend or Full-Stack Engineer
- Profound knowledge of TypeScript and Vue.js or other common frameworks
- Familiarity with backend application development in Node.js, PHP or other languages
- Knowledge of testing, debugging, monitoring, and deployment techniques for web applications
- Experience with building responsive web applications and using different API paradigms
- Proactive, responsible, and process-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
- In-depth knowledge of software development methods and principles
- Commitment to learning and adapting to new technologies quickly
- Understanding of infrastructure concepts
