Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain test automation software for board-level, equipment-level, and subsystem-level testing
- Define and implement hardware and software architectures tailored to specific test scenarios and HiL environments
- Develop LabVIEW-based applications, for both desktop and real-time platforms (e.g., PXI, cRIO)
- Integrate and configure NI VeriStand as part of real-time test setups
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software into functional test platforms
- Support test execution, data acquisition, logging, and automated reporting
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture specifications, code documentation, and user guides
- Provide support for debugging, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of test platforms
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proficiency in LabVIEW, including desktop and real-time application development
- Hands-on experience with NI VeriStand in real-time test environments
- Familiarity with NI TestStand for test automation and execution management
- Solid understanding of test platform architectures, hardware/software integration, and real-time systems
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, with a structured and methodical approach
- Ability to write and integrate Python scripts to extend test workflows or support automation tasks
- Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to collaborate across disciplines, drive initiatives, and deliver in a high-paced environment
