Company Introduction
Our product universe spans three different platforms with maximum take-off weights of up to 1000 kg and characteristic dimensions of 8 m: The hexacopter Grille for medical evacuation, the multi-role rotorcraft Wespe for logistics and support operations, as well as the fixed-wing drone Bussard for surveillance and intelligence missions. All systems are powered by RasCore, our highly redundant, military-grade avionics system for safe operations within EASA's Specific Category.
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop native or cross-platform mobile applications tailored for in-field use
- Develop robust API integrations with our Odoo backend to ensure seamless data flow
- Implement offline-first capabilities to ensure users can document work in remote locations without immediate connectivity
- Optimize UI/UX for rugged environments, ensuring high usability for users wearing safety gear
- Maintain end-to-end ownership of the mobile release cycle, from initial prototyping to deployment and monitoring
Requirements
- Masters or Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
- 5+ years of professional mobile development experience, with a proven track record of shipping complex, data-driven apps
- Proficiency in Agile, Mobile DevOps (CI/CD), Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Offline-first architecture
- Expertise in Flutter, React Native, or Native (Swift/Kotlin); REST/GraphQL APIs; Git; Jira/Confluence
- Optional: Experience with Odoo mobile framework, XML-RPC, or aviation-specific software standards
- Security clearance (Ü2-Sabotageschutz) approval
