Position Overview
Financial consolidation, reporting, business planning and performance management: The SAP Group General Ledger team is responsible for the global SAP platforms based on SAP HANA at Deutsche Bank (DB), prepares the quarterly DB financial reports, including publication to our shareholders. The teams are responsible for strategic change initiatives, such as the design and implementation of the planning and forecasting solution for DB worldwide, driver-based cost management/allocation, the migration of SAP systems to the Google Cloud, and the future introduction of Gen AI/ML using SAP products. We are also responsible for the introduction of ESG Target Reporting.
Your Tasks
- Independently analyze business processes and design and develop extensive software solutions based on SAP platforms using our agile methodology in a large development team
- Develop components of the strategic planning solution in the bank using SAP, including the SAP HANA database with SQL, customizing in BPC and SAC, UI development based on Fiori and more
- Integrate Google Cloud functions, Gen AI and Python models with SAP solutions (e.g. SAP PaPM) into the global platform and enable DB's financial modeling for cost and revenue forecasts
- Closely collaborate with experienced SAP software developers for an integrated, high-quality solution into existing processes and software solutions for our finance customers up to the DB Board
- Collaborate with technical architects and software developers to strive for "best-in-class" solutions
Your Skills and Experience
- Degree from a recognized university/college with a focus on IT or business administration or comparable training/professional experience (bank clerk desirable)
- Extensive professional experience in the development and programming of large and complex software solutions in SAP products such as SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM), SAP BPC, SAP BCS(4HANA), SAC BI and Planning, SAP HANA, BW/4HANA
- Experience as IT Application Owner or IT Application Owner Delegate and the methods used in the bank is desirable
- Advantageous are modeling skills that use AI/ML for financial data
- Desirable are experiences in areas such as SAP BTP, DataSphere and SAP's Gen AI products; design and software development of integrated reporting solutions like SAC BI, SAP Business Objects, Tableau or SAP SAC
- Beneficial are experiences with agile development methods, including DevOps concepts; experience with Google Cloud services like the Vertex or Cortex framework and other technologies like Python, JSON, .Net or Tableau
- Team player who works in a global and diverse team
- Pronounced customer and strategic solution orientation
- Support continuous learning and an open feedback culture
- Fluent English; German skills are desirable
