Responsibilities
- Creating sales opportunities by managing the pre-sales technical process and demonstrating Akamai's technology to customers
- Managing the technical proposal process and ensuring all technical information and recommendations addressing customer requirements are accurate
- Tracking account activity for business analysis and reporting, designing technical solutions to meet our customers' needs
- Leading sales activities such as Technical Demos, and Proof of Concepts (POCs)
- Building technical expertise in Cloud Computing to support Akamai's overall business growth
Requirements
- Experience working in a customer-facing technical solutions pre-sales or post-sale role
- Comprehensive understanding of the internet protocols and cloud-based technologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
- Interest in and understanding of online cybersecurity threats and technologies
- Experience with presenting technical topics to diverse audiences
- Team player, able to collaborate, prioritize, and solve problems in a fast-changing environment
- Proficient English level
