As a (Senior) Technical Consultant, you will act as the technical driving force behind complex customer engagements. Leveraging deep expertise and a trusted-advisor mindset, you will guide customers and internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions while resolving technical challenges.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with internal project teams, customers, and partners as the primary technical point of contact
- Own and lead technical project planning, including estimations, feasibility assessments, dependencies, and risks
- Drive and define solution and architecture design, translating requirements into scalable, maintainable implementations
- Ensure the customer's technical environment is enabled to meet deployment milestones and solution requirements
- Take end-to-end ownership of assigned implementation areas, adhering to architecture and best practices
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to (junior) consultants throughout build, test and deployment phases
- Lead solution validation and ensure customers fully test and understand solution capabilities
- Own and drive issue resolution, including hands-on correction, re-design/re-build, change management, and bug reporting/escalations
- Lead production rollout activities, including technical migration, hypercare, and handover to support
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience
- Good knowledge of professional services delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and ability to lead technical delivery
- Strong experience leading customer discovery, technical workshops, and requirements analysis
- Deep technical expertise in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Java, .NET, Python, PHP) with architectural understanding
- Advanced experience with ESB / digitalization platforms and middleware-based solution architectures
- Advanced knowledge of deployment and integration environments (APIs, containers, operating systems, databases, networking, virtualization, cloud services)
- Proven experience in troubleshooting complex issues, performance tuning, and escalation management
- Ability to mentor and guide technical delivery teams and ensure adherence to architecture and best practices
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket); experience with design and project planning tools is a plus
- Fluent Business English required; additional languages and international project experience strongly preferred
