Who we are
We are a development, production and maintenance organization for avionics/electronics (hardware and software) for the aviation industry and a subsidiary of Volz Servos (Offenbach a. M.).
AEE Aircraft Electronic Engineering GmbH was founded in 1987 and develops, qualifies, certifies, manufactures, distributes, maintains and repairs avionic/electronic systems and devices for the aviation industry in customized individual and series production. In addition, we provide the associated customer support and the necessary project management as well as documentation and support/implementation of qualifications for national and international customers. In addition to internationally established companies, our customers also include the growing urban air mobility scene surrounding the much-discussed autonomous electric air taxis.
Your tasks
- Development of software architectures and corresponding embedded software
- Definition of Software Verification Cases and Procedures (High-Level/Low-Level)
- Perform Software Tests (High-Level/Low-Level) and support System-Level testing
- Creating code, documentation, verification artefacts based on RTCA DO-178C
- Supporting the hardware team for board bring-up
Your profile
- University or technical college degree in the field of electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent
- 3+ years of professional experience in the field of software development or verification
- Good experience working directly with low-level software on embedded systems
- Optional: Experience in the aerospace industry
- Optional: Working knowledge of design and performance of verification scenarios according DO-178B/C Level A to Level D for real time embedded software
- Optional: Knowledge of aviation standards ARP4754A, ARP4761
- Experience in development of requirements and the requirement reviews
- Programming languages: Python, C
- Fluent English written and spoken, German is a plus
