Solution Engineer - German Speaking

Your tasks
- Lead technical discovery sessions to deeply understand and map complex merchant requirements
- Design and present tailored payment solutions, clearly mapping Mollie's APIs and products to specific business needs
- Build and deliver custom demos, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and technical workshops that prove our value
- Act as the technical expert in the room, partnering with Account Executives to overcome objections and close strategic deals
- Collaborate directly with Product and Engineering teams, channeling critical merchant feedback to help shape our product roadmap
What you'll bring
- 3-5+ years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role (e.g., Solution Engineer, Sales Engineer, Technical Consultant)
- A strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and modern web technologies, with the ability to read and understand code (like PHP, JavaScript, or Python)
- Proven experience in the payments, fintech, or a complex SaaS industry
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a talent for explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Business fluency in both German and English is essential for this role
