About the Role
We are seeking an organised and self-motivated Senior Data Analyst to work embedded in our Grow & Engage domain, one of our cross-functional areas shaping the development of one of the world's leading FinTech products. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving data-driven decision-making processes, providing actionable insights, and supporting strategic initiatives across the organization. As a senior member of the analytics team, you will lead, mentor, and coach other analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and impact-focused decision making. Your expertise will help optimize customer engagement strategies, enhance product features, and contribute to the overall growth of N26.
Responsibilities
- Leading data analysis initiatives to uncover insights that drive customer growth, engagement, and retention strategies.
- Collaborating with product, marketing, and engineering teams to define key metrics and develop dashboards that monitor business performance.
- Mentoring and coaching junior analysts, promoting best practices in data analysis, and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Designing and implementing data collection processes to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security.
- Developing predictive models and advanced analytics to support strategic decision-making and operational improvements.
- Presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear, concise manner to facilitate impactful business decisions.
- Staying updated with industry trends, new tools, and methodologies to enhance analytical capabilities and efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Extensive experience with SQL, Python, R, or similar data analysis tools.
- Proficiency in data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and mentoring junior analysts.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP, and knowledge of machine learning techniques.
