Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring supplier process capability by eliminating variation at the source through rigorous validation, effective process controls, and disciplined change management
- Establishing and governing technical quality standards, incoming requirements, and verification methods to prevent supplier quality escapes
- Leading structured root-cause analysis and long-term preventive actions focused on long-term robustness rather than recurring corrective actions
- Working directly with suppliers to validate manufacturing processes, improve capability, and proactively prevent defects
- Collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering, NPD, Procurement, Operations, and suppliers, influencing decisions through technical expertise and data
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, or related technical field)
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and process controls for mechanical and electro-mechanical components
- 3-5 years of experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or Process Engineering, preferably in a high-mix or component-intensive environment
- Proven experience working directly with suppliers to validate processes, improve capability, and prevent quality escapes
- Advanced English proficiency
