We are seeking a technically skilled and inspiring Team Lead for our Engineering team at AUTO1 Group, dedicated to developing cutting-edge tools and solutions for our Sales organization. You will lead a team of talented engineers focused on building and enhancing CRM systems, integrating AI-powered features from leading providers, and optimizing call management solutions to empower our sales agents in their interactions with customers.
Your new Role
- Lead the team in delivering high-quality features within established timelines
- Foster a positive team culture by supporting strong collaboration and continuously improving team processes
- Take ownership of product stability and performance in the production environment, proactively addressing issues as they arise
- Communicate and work effectively with Product Managers and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities and goals
- Mentor your engineers by setting clear expectations and conducting performance management
Your Skills
- 5+ years of professional experience in Java programming with Spring-based technologies
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- Experience in building a productive team environment by providing structured feedback, helping engineers to achieve their goals
- Experience with Microservices architecture
- Strong experience in building RESTful APIs and implementing asynchronous communication patterns
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot
- Experience with the AWS ecosystem is a plus
