As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications and systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues, ensuring the quality and performance of the products.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated test scripts using various testing frameworks
- Conduct functional, integration, and performance testing on software and systems
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and enhance system functionality
- Document test results, track defects, and work with the development team to resolve issues
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and tools
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
