Your Tasks and Responsibilities
- Design and be responsible for a robust database infrastructure as the foundation for IP reporting, working closely with the external provider of the IP management system
- Develop and integrate AI-based tools into all aspects of IP processes (analysis, reporting, workflows, quality assurance)
- Create dashboards and automated reports on key performance indicators of the IP portfolio
- Develop and maintain interfaces between IP-specific applications and internal IT systems (SAP, HR)
- Develop and maintain connections to external databases, search and drafting tools, as well as to the electronic legal communication systems of patent and trademark offices
- Oversee compliance processes in the context of working with external IT service providers (cybersecurity, data privacy, works council)
- Support IP experts in their daily work with the software landscape
Your Qualifications and Experience
- Completed a bachelor's degree in computer science, business informatics, data science or a comparable field
- Initial experience in the field of intellectual property
- Good knowledge of SQL and basic experience in data modeling as well as in data lake technologies (e.g., Microsoft Fabric or Snowflake)
- Practical experience in data visualization (Power BI), in interacting with highly complex data sources and APIs, and with relevant programming languages (e.g., Python, C#)
- Basic knowledge in data privacy and cybersecurity
- Experience working with international partners
