Software Engineer ECO

One of Privas exiting, new departments: ECO is one of the core building blocks of Privas next chapter - a lean, innovative team operating with startup agility inside an established global organisation.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop the core backend and data-driven components that power ecoBuilding and Plantonomy™, ensuring they are reliable, scalable, and ready for the next phase of growth
• Collaborate closely with data scientists, fellow engineers, and product stakeholders to turn complex energy-transition challenges into elegant technical solutions
• Improve and extend the platforms underlying architecture, strengthening performance, resilience, and long-term maintainability as we move from startup mode to scale-up
• Build for impact, contributing code that supports real-world energy optimisation across global markets

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an IT direction
• Minimum 5 years experience in a software engineering role
• Experience with one (or all) of the following: PHP, Python, CPLEX, Linux, Docker, KQL, SQL, and Azure would be a significant advantage
• Based in the Netherlands, able to come to the office two to three times a week
